Mary Mullett, CYT

When funding began drying up in her science-research career years ago, Mary started contemplating her next life chapter. Having been a dedicated runner for years, including completing a couple of marathons, she turned to yoga classes in hopes of counterbalancing her tightening and tense leg muscles. Eventually, she found an instructor whose yoga style aligned perfectly with her needs.

It wasn't long before she embarked on the journey to earn her 200hr yoga certification while still working full time. Given the opportunity to teach a class or two weekly at the studio where she practiced, she gradually accumulated additional class slots over time.

Now, with over 13 years of experience and numerous opportunities in various studios, her teaching style has evolved, and her passion for teaching has only grown stronger. Specializing in teaching the mature population, she finds joy in guiding practitioners of all ages and levels, especially young individuals discovering yoga as a beneficial complement to their active lifestyles.

Having pursued additional trainings in Restorative, YIN, Yoga for Cancer Care, and yoga with weights, she has also collaborated with a physical therapy office to help patients develop tailored yoga programs suited to their past injuries and current physical condition.

Her gentle yoga class welcomes practitioners of all levels and ages, emphasizing alignment and breathing techniques to facilitate a mindful and rejuvenating practice. Join her for a session and experience the transformative power of yoga firsthand!
