Both mental and physical wellness will be addressed with decreased stress and increased flexibility and strength. This class can be tailored to your own pace, so all fitness levels will benefit. However, it is recommended that students in this class are able to get up and off the floor unassisted to participate.

Intro to Yoga:
Have you ever wanted to take a yoga class but didn’t feel comfortable? Or, do you have pain or an injury, and you don’t know if yoga will hurt or help? Come and take this introductory session! The instructor is both a licensed Physical Therapist and a Registered Yoga Teacher. In this class, you will learn yoga poses and principles that can help with stress, flexibility, strength, and posture. Modifications and advancements will be shown, which makes this class open to all. It is recommended that participants can get up and down from the floor unassisted.

PhysiYoga:
PhysiYoga has a mix of yoga styles: full longer consistent warm-up each class, stabilization exercises, a flow sequence with a focus on alignment and breath, balance and yin poses, and breath/relaxation work. This allows the body to be prepared for more challenging poses as the class progresses. Modifications included, so classes are beginner-friendly and open to all levels! (Participants should be able to get up and down from the floor independently).
